Of the
9-piece Gatilyo album from the flip-top
royalty in BLKD, I’m particularly all-ears on ‘Taksil’, for a couple of good
reasons. I mean, I can’t even remember the last time I wilded the fuck out for
the fuck of it, FlipTop wise. Abra’s early rise to stardom, maybe. The entire
piece is a good 4 minute of raucous destructive shit leaving you with blood in
your knuckles for such a painful truth in full sense of mayhem. A long and high-paying career isn't guaranteed in the
FlipTop field especially with such underdog treatment, but with these guys grinding
on their own, putting out their art, hitting the road hard, the glory and
respect I have for them is rocket-high.
