There’s a huge reason why I grew into an avid but critical Ben&Ben fan. And this roots way before Ben&Ben actually happened – it's during those PhilPop times when I received this rather unexpected letter of thanks from Paolo Guico for my then “Tinatangi” review. Being appreciated for an honest work you did is no less than a gem. And the rest of my Ben&Ben clamor, as they say, is history. With regards to “Ride Home”, I’m officially shattered. This great mix of folk rock, and country, and tribal, and pop with a Phillip Phillips sound hint somewhere has been a major pill for me this year. Probably the anthem for that twist I’m still waiting for this forgettable 2017.
