Maroon 5 | Memories

Over the years, Maroon 5 has been a staple on my playlist and yet nothing cracks this list until Adam Levine began again with “Lost Stars” in 2014. Five years later, came this rare kind of a track about acknowledgment and appreciation for people who once have been, who may have been, and who are still here with us, over drinks, that well, bring back “Memories”. Thinking about it, every encounter we have with every person who touched our lives in one way or another, no matter how short-lived or bad it ended, somehow leaves a lasting mark on special corners in our hearts. Because no matter how we try, these certain fragments and packets of recollections will linger – like love that keeps on giving, it never really runs out – because memories are rivers with no banks, constantly flows, and when they find there way to the shore and into the ocean, infinite possibilities are bound to occur.
