I haven’t mentioned yet that I won a signed copy
of Wolfgang's Ang Bagong Dugo sa Lumang Ugat:
Unang Kabanata CD three weeks ago because, quite frankly, I’m not sure
if I’ll ever have the chance and time to claim it due to conflicting work
schedule. Of course, I hate spoiling the dish before it’s even served. Until the other
day..Since September 17, 2012 is an official
holiday here in Elbi, plus the fact that I’ve been dying to have a copy of the
first chapter of that three-part Wolfgang album, I undoubtedly headed to
ABS-CBN to claim the prize. I arrived alive and intact at ELJCC Bldg. at around
5 pm., waited there for a while, until Sir Mervin (the MYX rep) handed me the
CD.
I had 3 to 4 rounds of the EP last night and ‘Kandila’ has largely grown on me already. Though, I think I couldn’t do the review early this morning. I’ll need a few more spins before writing the review. For the mean time, Wolfgang is giving away acoustic guitars. Check out their page: here.

ReplyDeleteSIGNED COPY NG ALBUM NG WOLFGANG!!!!! Now I really hate my life. Wolfgang is the best and will always be. I wonder why they can't produce their heirs to the throne? masyado kasi pinapasikat yang mga walang kwentang artistang nagpupumilit kumanta! Leche!
ReplyDeleteBut I'm glad to know that Wolfgang is still around. Otherwise, mamamatay na ng tuluyan ang Filipino rock music. They're one of the great pillars of that genre in the Philippines. well, in my opinion of course. Hirap makipagtalo sa isang taga elbi. Hehehe!
I'm from Laguna. Madami akong dating classmates diyan graduate. If only I could turn back time, diyan na lang sana din ako nagtapos.
